Benefits of Membership
Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of Congregation Beth Ohr. As a member of our kehila, our sacred community, you are entitled to all of the benefits of membership:
Traditions
A rich heritage of liturgy, melodies, prayers, and customs provide a connection to hundreds of years of unbroken traditions
Community
We join together through services, education, special events and programming, creating social connections with our members and neighbors
Clergy Participation
Clergy participation in life cycle events such as bar and bat mitzvahs, baby namings, weddings, as well as illness and deaths
High Holy Days
Membership includes tickets to High Holy Days services. Family Membership includes 2 tickets and Single Membership includes 1 ticket. Tickets are not required for dependent children
Adult Education
The Congregation Beth Ohr prides itself on its many adult education offerings
Social Groups
Social groups are a big part of our shul. Our Men’s Club, Sisterhood, and Hazak are among the many opportunities to get involved
Worship Services
Most important of all, as a member of Congregation Beth Ohr, you will find traditional Conservative worship services and an expert and learned clergy
Minyan
We offer minyan on demand for our members when required
