Dear Delightful Parents,
Please remember on Saturday night, March 7, 2020 to turn back your clocks for Daylight Savings Time. I am sorry that you are losing an hour sleep.
Thank you for your generous contributions for our Hebrew School Shalach Manot Fundraiser. Please bring dollar bills so that you can participate in our exciting fundraiser. The Purim Carnival will be held from 10:30 - 12:30pm on Sunday, March 8, 2020 at the CBO Merrick Annex. Please go directly to the Annex.
Speaking of our Purim Carnival, Sunday, March 8, 2020, volunteers are needed to operate booths, sell raffle tickets, and other miscellaneous jobs. Any student who volunteers will receive Community Service credit.
This Monday night, March 9, 2020 is the Megillah reading at 7:00pm. We're encouraging our students to come in costumes. The theme is historical figures. If your child attends the service, they will receive double Junior Congregation credit. Mr. Bruce and Cantor Kowitz have been working diligently to teach our students Purim songs that they will be singing Monday night throughout the Megillah.
Also, does anyone know someone who can face paint? If so, please have that person contact me.
A Tip of the Kippah to Joey Weisbord for his tour of "The Secrets of the Sanctuary" for our classes. No one does it better!
