Ms. Ilene's class: The students will be learning about Yom Ha'Atzma'ut and will be making related crafts. This class will be joining our Tot Shavuot on Friday, May 11, 2018, when they will be singing some of your favorite Shabbat songs.
Ms. Hali's class: The students will be learning about Yom Ha'Atzma'ut and continuing to learn new Hebrew letters and vowels. Their Class Shabbat Service will take place on Friday, May 4, 2018, when they will join the Aleph class.
Aleph Classes: Please encourage your children to review their Hebrew letters and vowels. Please remember that we want all of our students to be present every day. This will enable them to strengthen their Hebrew reading.
Their Class Shabbat Service will take place on Friday, May 4, 2018.
Bet Classes: The students are progressing nicely in their Hebrew studies. Please continue to encourage your children to practice their reading at home.
The Bet Class Shabbat Service, originally scheduled for April 27, 2018, has been rescheduled to Friday, May 18, 2018, at 8:00 PM. Students are required to wear a white shirt and a dark bottom.
Gimel Classes: The Gimel Class are making their own Tefillah recordings. I have listened to several and they sound just great. Thank you, parents, for assisting them. On Sunday, April 29, 2018, from 10:00 AM until 11:30 AM, our Gimel class and their parents will enjoy a Family Ed Program about "Unlocking the Secrets of the Jewish Calendar" with our Family Educator, Jill Kaplan. I look forward to seeing everyone there.
Dalet Classes: Please encourage your child to practice their Hebrew reading.
REMINDER: Effective January 1, 2018, all Dalet students MUST attend services in the Main Sanctuary to receive Junior Congregation credit.
Hey classes: Hebrew High School classes continue on Tuesdays at 7:00 PM.
Please keep in mind that these classes are part of the CBO requirement for graduation, therefore, all students are required to attend on Tuesdays, as well as our Hey class on Thursdays.
