Ms. Ilene's class: The students had a wonderful time celebrating Yom Ha'Atzmaut with Yael (she's our wonderful shin shin). They have been working with her all year and have really enjoyed it. The students will be learning about Shavuot and will be making related crafts. This class will be joining our Tot Shavuot on this Friday, May 11, 2018, at 6:30 PM when they will be singing some of your favorite Shabbat songs. As always, have your child wear white shirt and a dark bottom. I hope to see all of you there.
Ms. Hali's class: Great job by all of the Pre-Aleph students and their teachers, last Friday night. The students had a wonderful time celebrating Yom Ha'Atzmaut with Yael (she's our wonderful shin shin). They have been working with her all year and really enjoyed it. The students will be learning about Shavuot and will continue to learn new Hebrew letters and vowels.
Aleph Classes: "A tip of the Kippah" to our Aleph students and Aleph teachers for preparing our students so beautifully for their shabbat service. Please encourage your children to review their Hebrew letters and vowels. Please remember that we want all of our students to be present every day. This will enable them to strengthen their Hebrew reading.
Bet Classes: The students are progressing nicely in their Hebrew studies. Please continue to encourage your children to practice their reading at home. Yael has been working with our students and she really has made Israel come alive. She will continue to work with them through the end of the year. The Bet Class Shabbat Service will be on Friday, May 18, 2018, at 8:00 PM. Students are required to wear a white shirt and a dark bottom. Gimel Classes: The Gimel Class are making their own Tefillah recordings. I have listened to several and they sound just great. Thank you, parents, for assisting them. Dalet Classes: The students had an incredible time celebrating Yom Ha'Atzmaut with Yael. They have been working all year with her and enjoyed every minute of it. Please encourage your child to practice their Hebrew reading. REMINDER. Our Dalet students MUST attend services in the Main Sanctuary to receive Junior Congregation credit. Hey classes: The last Hebrew High School class was Tuesday, May 1st. Please keep in mind that these classes are part of the CBO requirement for graduation, therefore, all students are required to attend on Tuesdays, as well as our Hey class on Thursdays.
