I would like to take this opportunity to wish all of our families a wonderful and meaningful Shavuot. This Sunday, May 20, 2018 is Shavuot and classes will not meet. WE ARE ENCOURAGING ALL OF OUR STUDENTS TO ATTEND THE ISRAEL DAY PARADE, ON SUNDAY, JUNE 3RD. FOR ALL STUDENTS THAT ATTEND WE WILL GIVE DOUBLE JUNIOR CONGREGATION CREDIT.

The Bet Shabbat is this Friday, May 18, 2018 at 8:00 PM. A "Tip of the Kippah" to the Gimel students who have volunteered to assist at the service.
Please note that the first half of the school year ended on January 21, 2018, and Junior Congregation credit is listed only through that date. If you are unsure if your child has received credit for subsequent dates, please send an e-mail to June at SchoolAdm@cbohr.org. She will check and reply to you.
Ms. Ilene's class: This class will have its final session on Sunday, June 3, 2018 when they will have a breakfast to celebrate the end of a wonderful year.
Ms. Hali's class: Please let me know if your student will join Ms. Hali's Pre-Aleph Shavuot celebration on Thursday, May 24, 2018 from 5:30 PM until 6:45 PM. This will include pizza, discussion and ruach. They will also meet on Sunday, June 3 at their regular time..
Aleph Classes: Please encourage your children to review their Hebrew letters and vowels. Please remember that we want all of our students to be present every day. This will enable them to strengthen their Hebrew reading.
Bet Classes: The students are progressing nicely in their Hebrew studies. Please continue to encourage your children to practice their reading at home. The Bet Class Shabbat Service is this Friday, May 18, 2018, at 8:00 PM. Students are required to wear a white shirt and a dark bottom. We also ask the students to arrive by 7:20 PM for some last minute words of encouragement. Gimel Classes: The Gimel students are making their own Tefillah recordings. I have listened to several and they sound just great. Thank you, parents, for assisting them. For any students who are attending the services tomorrow night, please wear a white shirt and a dark bottom. Please make every attempt to arrive by 7:20 PM. Dalet Classes: The students had an incredible time celebrating Yom Ha'Atzmaut with Yael. They have been working all year with her and enjoyed every minute of it. Please encourage your child to practice their Hebrew reading.
REMINDER. Our Dalet students MUST attend services in the Main Sanctuary to receive Junior Congregation credit. Hey classes: The last Hebrew High School class was Tuesday, May 1st. Please keep in mind that these classes are part of the CBO requirement for graduation, therefore, all students are required to attend on Tuesdays, as well as our Hey class on Thursdays.
Junior Congregation We thank Rachel Merker for an outstanding job in leading our Junior Congregation Services this year. The students will miss your wonderful shabbat plays.
