The Kindergarten and Primary Class: I was very impressed with the flags the class made for Simchat Torah celebration.
The Pre-Aleph Class learned a great deal about Simchat Torah and is continuing to learn the Aleph-Bet and the Brachot.
Aleph: Congratulations on a beautiful evening and a job well done. The flags you made for Simchat Torah were lovely. Keep up the good work.
Bet: I was very happy to see many of our Bet students at the Simchat Torah celebration. I can't wait to attend your Bet Siddur ceremony on January 27, 2019. Parents, please save the date.
Gimel: is off to a great start! I was very happy to see so many of you at the Simchat Torah celebration. Keep up the good work.
Dalet: The Dalet students are really enjoying Yoav and all that he shares with them about life in Israel.
Hey: The Hebrew High classes begin on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 from 7:00 PM until 8:40 PM at the Merrick Jewish Centre. Please arrive ten (10) minutes before class begins.
I encourage you to attend Shabbat services in the Main Sanctuary to improve your comfort level for your own Bar or Bat Mitzvah and to strengthen your Hebrew reading.
Good News: When you see Mr. Arkin in our "corridors of knowledge", please wish him a hearty Mazal Tov on the birth of his first grandson, Owen.
