            Dear Fellow Congregant,

This year Rosh Hashanah starts at sundown on September 25th. CBO will be holding High Holiday Services at both our Bellmore and Merrick locations. In order to accommodate all of our congregants’ needs for seats we must know before September 1st which location you would like to attend.

Cantor Harlap will be returning and joining Cantor Diamond and our Student Rabbi, Rishe Groner, for the High Holidays. Our Intergenerational service will be held on the second day of Rosh Hashanah in Merrick.

CBO hopes to make the holidays meaningful for everyone. If you are unable to attend services in person, you may watch them on our livestream. All of our services from Bellmore will be livestreamed to our website, YouTube and Facebook. If you need a prayer book (Machzor) for the livestream, please contact the office.

There are different COVID-19 protocols being observed in both buildings. Please read about the different protocols carefully before making your decision which service to attend. You have the option of attending services in either location.

The following COVID-19 rules will be followed in BOTH locations:

  •  EVERYONE, including children, must have their own ticket to attend any of the services.
  • If you are vaccinated for COVID-19, masks are optional.
