Shabbat Blast!

We’ve heard you loud and clear. You have been bombarded with Emails from us. So in an effort to reduce your email clutter, we are going to be sending out 2 emails a week.  On Mondays you will get a full listing of all of the upcoming events with an explanation, and a link to the event’s registration.  There will also be a Flyer at the Event Registration Page so you can print that out as you see fit.  On Fridays, you will get the usual Shabbat Blast from Rabbi Bernstein, as well as a short list of upcoming Events.  Every mailing, we will provide you with information pertinent to the next Shabbat or Yom Tov. As always, this is a work in progress, and we cannot do it without your input. Feel free to call or email the office so we can make sure your opinions are heard.

Dear [first_name] ,

This Shabbat our learning is not out in the world, it is within us. We are discussing the challenge to know what we truly need, not want, and to have the courage to pursue it. Some of us are locked in a deterministic attitude, locked in the opinion that our lives are as they will always be. This comes to us from failed attempts, from the assumptions and pressures of others, and ideals that don’t allow us the space to actualize our individual potential.

Join us tomorrow morning as we see the connection between counting the Omer, and the daily dedication that we make to coming closer to the personal self discovered Torah within each of us.

Shabbat shalom,

Rabbi Bernstein
