Cantor & Andrea Yavneh

Dear [first_name],

Life is a collection of individual little every-day moments and occasionally we can acknowledge those times in which we feel change strongly. This Shabbat is one of those bigger moments where we will be saying farewell to Cantor Yavneh. While we will run into Cantor Yavneh and Andrea around town, it is hard to believe that we will not be hearing the strength of his voice emanating from our bimah next Shabbat.

Many beautiful sentiments have already been shared about Cantor Yavneh, but words cannot capture the impact that he has had on our community, an impact that will reverberate in the depths of our identities as Jews.

Our singing and davening this Shabbat will have a different quality as we share our deepest gratitude for his leadership and friendship.

On Shabbat morning, we will be acknowledging this moment with a special Kiddush, followed by beautiful Shabbat singing of Zemirot. Please join us.

Shabbat shalom,

Rabbi Bernstein
