Congregation Beth Ohr Sisterhood Theater Group 2019-2020

The successful New York City Broadway theater subscription program run by TISM is now part of Sisterhood at Congregation Beth Ohr.

To have access to this program, the subscription fee is $40. Subscribers will then be given the opportunity to purchase group rate tickets to the 4 shows that the group attends. Approximately 2 will be in the Fall and 2 will be in the Spring. If there are enough tickets available, a subscriber may purchase a ticket for a friend at $15 above the group rate. A subscriber does not have to buy a ticket to any particular show, but once a subscriber commits to a show the ticket is bought for her, and she is committed to paying for that ticket or finding a replacement.

Transportation is available from the temple by Calling Laura Miller at (516) 781-2643,  Lunch is on your own. Often groups of attendees meet at the train station or plan for lunch together, but that planning is up to individuals. All shows are Wednesday matinees on Broadway.

The volunteer administrator is Elane Tarnofsky. She will need all your contact information, including email and cell phone, when you sign up for a subscription. Please remember that she is a volunteer and this entails a great deal of work. She is also not a mind-reader, so if you have special requests, like whom you would like to sit near, please tell her when you order your tickets, but recognize that the theater does not always give us the configuration of tickets together that will satisfy everyone, and she will do the best she can to accommodate your preferences.  If you want your tickets mailed to you, please include a self-addressed stamped envelope with each order.
