Hebrew School Happenings

Dear Incredible Parents,

I am excited to inform you about our Shavuot contest for all children on Thursday evening, May 28th at 6:00 PM.  The contest is for the children to write down what their 11th commandment would be. They can draw or paint it, write a poem about it, or simply just write it down.  There will be a prize for the winner.  Check our website for the link.

I am happy to report that our new program ,"Bedtime Stories With Milk and Cookies"  was a great success!  Please join us on Tuesday evenings, May 26th & June 2nd at 7:00 PM.  This program is for all young children through our Bet students.  We have a surprise reader each week.  

I am also thrilled to  inform you that we are thinking about planning  a Summer Experience Program and would appreciate your input on what type of classes you would like to see us offer.  Please join my chat on Thursdays at 3:45 PM.  My next chat will be on Thursday, June 4th.  You may also contact me at principal@cbohr.org at any time to discuss your thoughts.

As a reminder, we will not have classes this Sunday, May 24th, in observance of Memorial Day weekend, and we will not have regular classes on Thursday, May 28th, Erev Shavuot.  Cantor Kowitz will be starting his new program, Music and Prayers, on Thursday, May 28th at 3:00 PM. Please join him for this wonderful class.

Dear Bet Parents,

Due to Zoom technical difficulties on Sunday, the Bet Class was unable to get into class.  We will be adding this Thursday, May 21st at 3:30 PM to make up that class.  Please note that this class is in addition to their regular Wednesday class.

Dear Cooperative Parents,

I am delighted to remind you about our new program , "Bedtime Stories With Milk and Cookies" for all young children through our Bet students.  It will be held  on Tuesday evenings, May 19th, May 26th & June 2nd at 7:00 PM,  featuring a surprise reader each week.  We will also have a dynamic reader on Thursday evening, May 21st at 7:00 PM.

I am also excited to inform you of another new program, "Music and Prayers
with Cantor Kowitz" to be held on Thursdays.  It will be held on Thursdays, May 28th & June 4th at 3:00 PM for our Kindergarten, First and Second grade students.
